Scope of Work
Full LV/MV cabling, containment installation, and terminations for Equinix FR8 in Frankfurt — one of Europe’s first green-certified hyperscale data centres. The project involved 52 km of cable installed over 30 weeks by a 20-person DTEE team.
Challenges & Solutions
Delivered during the Covid-19 pandemic, with restricted access and supply chain challenges. DTEE adopted just-in-time material scheduling and enhanced on-site safety protocols. As the first green data centre in Frankfurt, works also adhered to advanced environmental controls and documentation standards.
Outcomes
Project successfully delivered under Covid restrictions without delay, achieving zero lost-time incidents and full compliance with Equinix’s sustainability and safety frameworks. Recognised by Mercury for its safety leadership.
